Creating exceptional designs for television is our mission. We actively study architecture and interior design, as well as sets and production design in all kinds of TV, films and games.
Watching and learning
At Lightwell, we are continually analysing techniques and approaches, and assessing whether they would bring additional value to our work. We learn, adapt and add this knowledge to our own considerable skill set. So while we’ve been doing it for over ten years, and have the experience to know what makes a camera shot work, we strive to make every set convincing and as real as possible. Attention to detail means that we utilise real world dimensions, and often refer to building regulations to design features like stairs. We do this instinctively, knowing from experience its true value: real world details with real world sizes produce the most convincing designs.

With origins in design, architecture and illustration, we embrace technology – from 3D, rendering and compositing software to cameras, lighting and LED or plasma screens. As technology continues to improve, we harness its power to bring our eye for creative design, composition, lighting and detail to improve your set and production.
